A mini version of what the full planned doc will be has been completed as part of the "Rak On! EXTRA" tv she that R. & I produce. The subject of this mini-doc: Jordan!

The "episode" is currently airing and the intent is to enter the docu-short into some local and national film festivals ASAP. This should provide some buzz and more interest for the full length project.

R. did a great job of editing and his vision/format with this episode of the TV show is what I'd like to see extended for "Aiwa!"

The "episode"/doc model can be seen ONLINE Mondays @1pm (PT) and Wednesdays @8am (PT) at www.pugetsoundaccess.org. You would need to click the "launch" button on that main page to view

Dazzel-girl: I have NO idea what the time difference for you is there in Paris vs. here on the West coast (lol) but check it out if/when you can!!

I just watched it Stephanie! :)
            And I LOVED it!
Little Jordan just inspired me! :)
Very well done! :) Nice filming & lots of good ideas.
It was very touching and some parts were funny- like Jordans siblings taking about how nice she is except for when she yells at them & at the end, when Jordan is like, 'money!' lol
So candid and cute :) I was impressed with her dancing. She is so cute and pretty and well spoken. She did a really good gob. You ALL did a really good job! :)

I loved how the speaker reveals he's the father and I loved that you showed yourself giving Jordan a hug afterwards as a proud mama. She's really lucky to have so much support in her family. That was really touching :)

The only thing that came to mind which could make it better... I do like the 'money' scene, but maybe there could be a little more explaination about how touched the audience was.... And then even to hear the audience applauding again during or after the money scene, as to end the note on how appreciative the audience was (along with your hug)- which may be better for an audience that doesn't know about traditional belly dance.

Anyway, it was really GREAT! And I was wishing my sisters could watch it to get inspired too, but they are 3 hours behind your time, so they were still sleeping. Otherwise I would have called them up to watch it! :)

I noticed at the end that there were some future viewing dates, but I wasn't able to grab my pen and write it all down fast enough...

What are those future dates and times for everyone who might have missed it, for my sisters (maybe they'll be able to catch it), and for myself as well. I'ld love to watch it again! :)

Oh girl, thank u so much for watching it & for your feedback/comments!!!

Russ did the editing of this episode and the voiceover and he shot her performances and the interview sequences. It was a fun project and I loved watching him dig in....that is why he's my production partner, too :)

This initially was just going to air for the TV show but once we watched the finished product, we thought we would make this a mini-doc so we plan to go back and do some re-editing and reshoot some things, add more voiceover stuff and make it even better!

Again, thank u sweets for checkin it out!

It will replay every Monday afternoon at 1pm and Wednesday at 8am until November 9th so there are 3 more weeks of reruns scheduled :)
